Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Odoo Developer to lead the customization, development, and implementation of Odoo ERP solutions. You will collaborate with project managers, functional consultants, and client stakeholders to build scalable and robust ERP applications tailored to business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy Odoo modules and features across various business domains.
- Customize existing Odoo modules and integrate third-party applications as needed.
- Participate in full software development lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to convert business requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize performance and scalability of Odoo applications for high-traffic use cases.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Odoo (v12 – v17) development and customization.
- Strong command of Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and QWeb.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo’s ORM, workflows, security, and business logic.
- Good knowledge of Odoo standard modules: Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, HR, eCommerce, etc.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and external integrations (e.g., payment gateways, shipping APIs, etc.).
- Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in handling projects for clients in manufacturing, trading, or service-based industries.
- Experience working with global clients, especially from the UAE and Australia.
